Since moving to the Maritimes I have fallen totally in love with the sea here. All the little harbours with fishing boats are so picturesque. This is the first of a series I am doing with the sea as the main theme. The backgrounds are wet felted then dry felted dimensions and embroidery add the details.
They are currently at the new UTATA gallery in Windsor just northwest of Halifax along with some other smaller textile pieces I've been working on over the summer (sorry no pics of those).
